We recommend to wait 24 hours before placing any furniture back on it, only because humidity from the cleaning process may still be in the padding and you do not want to trap that in. If you select our best carpet cleaning package then we will move most furniture and put it back with foam block or plastic tabs. Then those can be removed after the 24 hours. When can you walk on your carpet? you can walk on it at any time but the longer the fibers the more it will mash and the longer it will take to dry. Also it will be slippery when walking from the damp carpet onto a hard surface so be very careful.
